Kavalan’s PVC-free large format materials for indoor, outdoor, and interior design applications will be distributed in Thailand by the Bangkok-based printing solutions provider, BPS.
25 September 2024 – Leading manufacturer of PVC-free wide format materials, KAVALAN, is expanding its network in South East Asia with the announcement of a new partnership with BPS, the Thailand-based reseller of large format printing equipment and materials.
An established provider of end-to-end solutions for signage, packaging and decorative inkjet printing, BPS is well known throughout the Thai print industry for the diverse range of materials and equipment it supplies. When the company recognised a growing demand from corporate end users for more environmentally friendly materials, [Anoma Kulthamrong], [General Manager] knew it was time to turn to Kavalan.
According to [Anoma Kulthamrong], [General Manager] of BPS: “We have known Kavalan as part of a green products solution offering through our key partners such as HP and Epson for some time, but now is the right time for us to offer it to our customers. BPS customers are increasingly moving their focus to sustainability, particularly for their listed and corporate customers. In addition, the Thai government has made promoting sustainability an important part of policy, which we at BPS strongly believe in and support. With Kavalan’s worldwide success, we believe that they are one of the key partners that will enable us to offer green solutions.”
The PVC-free Kavalan range includes a lightweight coated banner material suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, a brilliant white banner material ideal for lightboxes and other backlit applications, a double-sided block-out textile material, a mesh banner material and a coated wall covering material. All Kavalan products have completed certified Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) by Swiss based SGS, the world’s leading independent testing and certification body, confirming their superior low impact eco-performance over traditional PVC banner and textile signage materials.
Nova Abbott, Head of Marketing for Kavalan, comments: “It is Kavalan’s aim to transform the signage and large format printing industries by making it possible to eliminate environmentally toxic PVC banner and textile materials without compromising on quality, appearance, or performance. Every new distribution partnership takes us one step closer to achieving that goal, and we’re very excited about how this partnership with BPS will spread the word about Kavalan in Thailand and beyond.”
