Kavalan and Taya Canvas (Shanghai) Co., Ltd ("the Organizers") reserve the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms & Conditions, the Entry Criteria, or the Judging Criteria at any time at their sole discretion.
The Organizers reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or postpone the Kavalan Green Leader Awards due to unforeseen circumstances beyond their control.
By submitting an entry to any category of the Kavalan Green Leader Awards, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Entrants confirm that their submissions do not, and will not, infringe upon the rights, including intellectual property rights, of any third party. Entrants are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions, licenses, or consents for any materials, including images, used in their submissions.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Businesses engaged in wide-format printing using Kavalan materials are eligible to enter any award category.
Businesses that distribute Kavalan materials are eligible to enter only the ‘Kavalan Champion’ award.
With the exception of the ‘Kavalan Champion’ award, all project-based entries must have been printed using one or more of the following Kavalan materials:
Entries must be submitted in the specified format, adhering to word limits, image resolution, and file format requirements outlined in the Entry Form.
With the exception of the ‘Kavalan Champion’ award, all entries must include at least three high-resolution images (minimum 300 dpi) showcasing the application. Any specific aspects, such as unique finishing or installation features, must be clearly visible in at least one image.
Entries incorporating data from the Kavalan Eco Calculator must include input figures for verification purposes, except for the ‘Kavalan Champion’ award, which has its own data submission criteria.
Submission Deadline: Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 23:59 (UTC+01:00). Late submissions may not be accepted, and entries cannot be modified after submission.
Winner Notification: Monday, April 28, 2025.
Awards Ceremony: Winners will be announced at FESPA 2025 in Berlin and invited to an informal celebratory reception at the Kavalan booth.
ENTRY FEES
There is no entry fee for the Kavalan Green Leader Awards.
NUMBER OF ENTRIES
Entrants confirm they hold the rights to all elements of their submissions, including designs, images, and data.
If the submission was created on behalf of a client, the entrant is responsible for securing necessary permissions. By submitting, entrants confirm they have obtained all required approvals.
Submissions containing copyrighted content (e.g., stock images, music in videos) must have proper licenses in place. The Organizers are not liable for any copyright violations.
USE OF SUBMITTED WORK
By entering, entrants grant the Organizers a royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, and display submitted work for promotional purposes, including but not limited to:
The Kavalan website
Kavalan social media platforms
Press releases and third-party media coverage
Advertising and promotional campaigns
CONFIDENTIALITY
Entrants must notify the Organizers at the time of submission if any part of their entry contains confidential or sensitive information.
The Organizers reserve the right to reject entries that contain confidential data that may impede the judging process.
DATA PRIVACY
Personal data submitted by entrants will be used solely for administering the Kavalan Green Leader Awards, including reminders, notifications, and promotional activities related to the Awards.
The Organizers may share entrant information with their publicity agents for promotional purposes relating to the Awards, but data will not be sold or shared with third parties outside of this scope.
